How do I submit an application for an apartment at Imprint?

We encourage you to browse our available apartments by visiting imprintapts.com/floorplans/ and once you select your next home, click the “LEASE” button. A new window will open at which point you will then follow the steps to submit your application.

How long does it take for an application to be approved?

We require every application to be fully approved within 72 hours.

What is the utility fee?

The pricing for utility fees is determined based on the size of the apartment. Pricing is as follows: $130/month (studio/convertible), $155/month (1 beds), $170/month (1 bed dens), $185/month (2 beds), $190/month (3 beds), $240/month (4 beds).

How do I set up my utilities?

At Imprint, your water, sewer, gas, trash, and Internet expenses are included in your utility fee and is charged monthly in addition to your rent (and other applicable fees). We require each household to setup and maintain a ComEd electricity account prior to move-in.

Which provider can I use for Internet and cable?

Imprint has secured an exclusive agreement with Zentro for internet and it is included in your monthly utility fee. Residents are able to secure cable with DirecTV for cable. Cable is not included in your monthly utility fee and must be paid directly to the provider by the resident.

Is there parking onsite?

Yes, Imprint does have an enclosed garage onsite with reservable, assigned parking spaces. Parking is $325/month and is on a first come, first served basis. Please contact our office to inquire about availability.

What amenities can I look forward to at Imprint?

At Imprint, we have YOU in mind, whether you need to work from home or put in a workout, we have an amenity space perfectly designed to meet your needs. Indoors will be able to enjoy a fully equipped fitness center (including Peleton Bikes, a Powermill Stair Climber, and ample cardio and weight training equipment), our resident lounge and co-working spaces (with high-speed internet access and a personal printing area), a demonstration kitchen and dining area, digital entertainment and gaming spaces, and covered, attached garage spaces and and complimentary on-site bike storage. Outdoors you can look forward to our fifth floor terrace with grilling stations, social gathering areas (with fire pits), a yoga platform, a private dog run accessible 24/7, and a top floor observation deck (with an additional fire pit & seating areas).

During which time periods are the amenities available for use?

All amenities (except for the fitness center) are on a 7AM to 11PM open-to-close schedule. The fitness center, however, is open 24-hours.

Is there public transportation near Imprint?

We are located steps away from the Harrison L train stop and the LaSalle Street Metra stop. We also have multiple bus stops within walking distance.

Do I have to be present for a service technician to perform work?

No, you do not need to be present as our service team completes your service request.

What happens if I am locked out?

We understand things happen and, because we have 24-hour concierge onsite, a member of the team will be able to grant you access into your apartment. This is a complimentary service, however, a replacement fob will be made and billed back to residents who no longer have one.

What appliances does an Imprint apartment include?

Each apartment at Imprint is equipped with a washer and dryer, dishwasher, gas stove, microwave and fridge. Garbage disposals are also included in each apartment.

If my situation changes can I get out of my lease?

There are two options to terminate your lease. Residents can either buyout of the lease or sublease. To buyout of your lease, we require a 60 day notice along with a buyout fee. You must also payback any concessions used. Subleasing your apartment is free, though each applicant must be screened and income qualified.

Do I have to make an appointment or do you accept walk-ins to tour Imprint?

We strongly encourage appointments. Because our tour calendar is frequently booked, we are not always able to accommodate walk-ins. We want to roll out the red carpet for each and every prospect, so to be safe, we strongly encourage you booking your tour directly through our website’s tour scheduler (located at the bottom of each page of the site).

Does Imprint offer furnished apartments?

Imprint does not offer furnished apartments.

Does Imprint have a waiting list?

No, Imprint does not have a wait list for apartments.

Does Imprint offer a bonus if I was referred by one of my friends?

Yes, if your friend lives at Imprint they will receive a referral within 45 days after you successfully move in.

Imprint apartments are located in the South Loop neighborhood of Chicago, IL – specifically Printer’s Row.

Are there any pet friendly apartments for rent at Imprint?

Yes, all units are pet friendly and Imprint is a very pet friendly community. In addition to our pet amenities (dog run and dog spa) we also plan resident events specifically with our furry friends and their owners in mind.
